Plot

The story starts with the release of a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online (SAO). Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito) is among the few chosen beta-testers of SAO. It is the first ‘Virtual Reality’ game ever made. After the game’s official release, thousands of players log in to experience virtual reality gaming. But soon, they find out that the only way of logging out is by finishing all the hundred levels in the game. The catch is, if they die in-game, they die in reality…My Review

I took over a month to finish this. It is a nice anime, and it has a terrific ending. The first few episodes were good, but around the middle of the series I found it a little boring. I think it is because I enjoy anime that have more of a fun factor rather than seriousness. It is definitely worth watching. A lot of sentiment, action and some depressing scenes make the viewing experience complete. I primarily enjoyed it because of the idea of there being a ‘virtual reality’ so real that it feels like reality itself. I really hope science and technology advances quickly so that in the near future, we would all be wearing a ‘nerve gear’ and logging in to a VRMMORPG.

Story: I think the story/plot is very original, and gets you hooked. There are plenty of tense moments, and a sweet romantic arc. Also, there are a lot of sentimental scenes, especially because everything is a matter of life and death. The only thing that made me uneasy was the stark seriousness. The story’s fun factor reduces considerably because some people are just pure evil, and they don’t understand the grave situation they are in. So, I will give this a 9/10.

Characters: What can I say, amazing anime always have amazing characters. Everyone’s character is rich, very well developed. Kirito’s sarcasm gets me every time. I also liked the way everyone has a very contrasting character. It gave me a sense of ‘satisfaction’, the feeling you get after you watch something mind-blowing and it stays in your mind for a long time. This gets a full 10/10.

Art: Nothing short of great. Characters look really cute. Fight scenes are done excellently. Not only have they precisely made the characters’ emotions, but also every time there is a clash of metallic surfaces, numerous sparks fly. It gives a very nice effect to the scene. Very good as a whole. I will give this a 9/10. Could have been better. There are some really serene places in SAO. Quite a lot of footage takes place there. The art has a utopian feel. There are various environments, snow, lakeside, sometimes just plain grass. Everything else is like reality itself; night and day, different weather conditions etc. But there are places where there is no background at all, an infinite void. Scenes like that make the anime a bit dull.

Overall Rating: 9/10

How to undo YouTube strikes

You can undo your YouTube strikes on your account. One obvious way of getting rid of them is to create a new account using a different email id. But, you can also remove them from the account without using a different email id. There are four steps to achieve this:

  1. Backup all your existing videos.
  2. Unlink your YouTube account and your Google account.
  3. Close your YouTube account.
  4. Sign up on YouTube using the same email Id as that of the account you just deleted.

An anticipation video I made for a friend

A friend of mine was making a forum RPG game, and he asked me if I wanted to make the game with him. I accepted. At first, we were planning to have only a banner to tell people that a game was going to be launched. So, we decided what to write on the banner. But later I realized, it would be really cool if we could make a video. So I made one. We were in a little hurry to publish it, so I couldn’t sync the audio with the video. But a few days later I updated it.

Plot

Hana is a 19 year old student who also works part-time at the laundry to pay her tuition fees. She meets a boy in her class, who is not a student formally but attends classes. He works part-time as a mover. They fall in love, and the boy shows Hana his deepest secret; that he is a descendant of the Japanese Wolves who have been extinct for about a hundred years. They start living together, and eventually have children—the first, a baby girl named Yuki and then a son named Ame. Their happy life is interrupted by the death of the wolf man, their father. Hana is faced with extreme hardships managing their two kids, and doing other chores in the household alone. Ame and Yuki can also transform into wolves like their father. As a result, Hana decides to move to the countryside so they can live their lives in secrecy…

My Review

If they gave Oscars for anime, I think this would be a rightful nominee. Anime is so lovable because of many reasons. The one with the greatest consequence in my opinion is that it portrays deep emotion. Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki brings out that in abundance. There are times when everybody is as happy as they can get, and sometimes it can bring you to tears. I had a wonderful time watching it.

Story: This has one of the best story that I have ever come across. I love the slice of life genre and I thoroughly enjoyed the two hours that I spent on this movie. For the amazing idea and plot, I give it a 10/10.

Art: The art is excellent as well, the characters are drawn very well. The scenery is also looks great. Only thing is that the waterfall looks a bit off, so I will give this a 9/10.

Characters: Again, amazing character design, I totally loved the main characters. Hana is my favourite, as she is sentimental, sympathetic, responsible, and would go to any length to protect her kids. The characters of Ame and Yuki are brought out very well. So this gets 10/10.

Hey!

Hello! I had wished to start a blog a long time ago, but my exams did not permit me to do so. My exams are in the past now, I have finally fulfilled my wish. This is my first blog, so you might notice a few things changing from time to time. I made this blog because I want to share with the world my many experiences. These experiences are not just events which happen in my life. They may be anything at all. I did not want to limit my scope because of the subject of this blog. So I decided to widen the scope of the subject. It is a blog about different topics all under one roof.

I almost forgot to give you a brief introduction on me. I am a computer enthusiast, I love the internet, I love browsing and scavenging for information. Among my many hobbies are watching anime, talking to my best pal, reading books, listening to music, learning all kinds of different things, playing games and many more.

A warm welcome to all the readers. I hope you enjoy!
